As we reflect on the journey of our esteemed party members, we recall how Hon Rotimi Makinde selflessly supported Mr Benjamin Adereti's bid for the House of Representatives ticket in 2027. Despite whispers of discontent, Makinde stood firm and delivered his ward, showcasing his commitment to party unity and progress. He lost!. However, Adereti's subsequent pursuit of the deputy governorship slot in 2026, abandoning his initial ambition, has led us to a pivotal moment.
We believe it's time for Hon Rotimi Makinde to redirect his exceptional leadership skills towards serving our beloved Ife Federal Constituency. With a proven track record of excellence, credibility, and a reputation that precedes him, he's the natural choice to represent us at the federal level come 2027.
We urge Hon Makinde to seize this opportunity and throw his hat into the ring. His experience as a ranking personality , coupled with his passion for public service, makes him an invaluable asset to our constituency. We're calling on all stakeholders, well-wisers, and loyal party members which includes Mr Adereti to join us in persuading him to run for this position.
Let us rally behind a leader who embodies the values of integrity, accountability, and people-centered governance. Ife Federal Constituency deserves a representative, a welfairst who'll champion its cause, fight for its rights, and bring development to our doorstep.
In Hon Rotimi Makinde, we see a champion of progress, a resilient servant leader, and a true representative of our aspirations. Let's unite behind him and make Ife Federal Constituency a beacon of excellence!
The Mayegun Vanguard, as a group, and on behalf of our principal, would like to congratulate Mr Benjamin Adereti on his new role and pledges our support. We also seek the House of Representatives ticket for our dear principal in the interest of fairness and equity, believing that Hon Rotimi Makinde's leadership will bring prosperity to Ife Federal Constituency.
Together, let's make a difference!
