In a bid to address pressing national issues and strategize for upcoming electoral battles, key figures of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have gathered at the Oyo state Governor’s Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja. Led by Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, the assembly includes notable personalities such as Agbu Kefas of Taraba, Dauda Lawal of Zamfara, and Godwin Obaseki of Edo.
The agenda for the meeting spans various critical subjects, ranging from the nation's economic hardships to the prevailing security concerns. Moreover, with the Edo State Governorship Election looming, discussions will delve into preparations for the party's primary scheduled for February 22. Notable attendees also include Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State, Ifeanyi Ossai of Enugu State, and Monday John Onyeme of Delta State, all poised to contribute to the discourse on party-related matters.
As the PDP Governors’ Forum convenes, eyes are keenly fixed on the outcomes, amidst expectations of robust resolutions aimed at steering the party towards its objectives amidst the nation's socio-political landscape.
