From Tuesday, February 13th, to Friday, February 16th, 2024, transportation leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders from across Nigeria will converge to deliberate on crucial themes shaping the country's transport landscape.
Under the esteemed leadership of Governor Dapo Abiodun, the event aims to tackle pressing issues under the theme, 'Embracing Innovations and Technologies for Sustainable Transportation: Tackling The Energy Challenges.' With a focus on innovation and sustainability, the council seeks to pave the way for a more efficient and environmentally conscious transportation sector.
The distinguished presence of Senator Saidu Alkali, the Minister for Transportation, as the Guest of Honour underscores the significance of this gathering. Commissioners, permanent secretaries, transport secretaries, and directors from all states and the Federal Capital Territory will join hands to chart a path forward for the nation's transportation infrastructure.
Engr. Olugbenga Dairo, the Commissioner for Transportation in Ogun State, emphasized the event's role in fostering national development. He highlighted Governor Abiodun's commitment to positioning Ogun State as a leader in transportation innovation, expressing delight at the state's opportunity to host such a prestigious gathering.
