Breaking: Suspended Minister Betta Edu Vows to Fight Back

By Mohammed Bello Doka

In a shocking turn of events, President Tinubu has suspended the Humanitarian Minister, Dr. Betta Edu, who has now vowed to fight back, revealing a web of corruption within the government. Edu alleges that she's being unfairly targeted and claims to have evidence of financial dealings with high-profile figures in the Presidency.

Aso Rock insiders report that Edu is accusing the Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, of receiving funds from her ministry. The suspended minister asserts that she cannot be treated as an outsider and is determined to expose those involved in what she describes as a "looting spree."

The controversy extends to other ministers, with Tunji Ojo allegedly receiving N438.1 million from the N3 billion Social Register Contract. New Planet Project Limited, owned by the Minister for Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, secured a N438.1 million contract to verify 11 million homes in Nigeria, raising eyebrows due to the swift one-month completion.

Further revelations point to irregularities in contract awards, with unregistered companies like Vintsolve Global Consult and Blue Trend Enterprise receiving N558.8 million and N277.8 million, respectively. Fabunmi Olanipeku & Co, an accounting firm allegedly linked to an APC Attorney's brother, obtained N419.5 million.

Periscope Consulting, Laitop Dynamics Interlink Services Ltd, Memak Nigeria Limited, and MC Van Management Consult Limited also secured contracts, with questionable details surrounding their ownership and registration.

Danzinger Nigeria Limited, owned by Oladapo Rotimi Mohammed, received N275.8 million, raising concerns about transparency and due diligence in the awarding of contracts.

All implicated contractors claim to have verified an astonishing 11 million homes in Nigeria within a single month, adding fuel to the already raging controversy. As the government grapples with this scandal, the nation watches closely, demanding accountability and transparency in the highest echelons of power.
