In a historic event at the State House, Abuja, Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, played a pivotal role as a representative of the government in the inauguration of a tripartite committee tasked with reshaping the minimum wage structure for Nigerian workers.
Under the unwavering guidance of President Tinubu, Onyejeocha, along with representatives from the government, private sector, and organized labor, embarked on a mission of great significance. President Tinubu emphasized the committee's crucial role, urging them to approach their responsibilities with diligence, inclusive consultations, and a commitment to meet the April deadline.
The committee, headed by former Head of Service Bukar Aji, boasts a lineup of seasoned individuals from various sectors. Minister Onyejeocha, representing the ministry of Labour and employment alongside representatives from key ministries and the Nigeria Governors Forum.
