This year is the second year that Nigerians are witnessing Jun 12th as Democracy Day.
Is was a deliberate attempt by our former President Muhammadu Buhari in a bid to strengthened the unity of Nigerians.
Today, history was made after 30years where two Nigerians from Yoruba and Kanuri extractions in 1993 were denied victory. Alas, after 3 decades, history repeats itself with same settings in 2023.
Perhaps God doesn't make mistake. Our hope is to see the Nigeria of our dream in Asiwaju/Shettima leadership that will give ALL NIGERIANS a sense of belongings without marginalization.
One of the Area that will strengthen democracy and give the people a sense of belongings is all inclusiveness in Governance by appointing one of us as member of the Executive Council and if the need be, Abuja should be treated and seen EQUALLY with other states of the Federation.
Hitherto, this will mark a historical milestone in the hearts of the Aborigines and other Nigerians as the Federal Capital Territory is a mini-Nigeria on its own.
