Why Aso Rock Villa Hawks Are Against Tinubu's Presidency - Jaafar

Sabiu Tunde is the major force opposing Tinubu's presidency. I only mentioned the most prominent voices and the influence he possesses. He is on the President's side and has so much authority in the Presidency that he can significantly affect more things than any other individual. I believe that (Governor Nasir) El-Rufai does not like to accord such significance to a "little lad." Consequently, he did not mention the name.

Sani Zangon Daura is also very close to the President, as I mentioned in that tweet; he has a great deal of influence, but he was suddenly spotted pushing for Atiku Abubakar; I believe he was even in Jigawa State a few weeks ago campaigning for Atiku. It was so obvious that he is not concealing his decision. It is quite puzzling. Initially, Tinubu was not their favoured candidate; instead, they intended to impose Senator Ahmed Lawan, which failed. Even though Tinubu emerged victorious following the plan's failure, he did not receive much support from them. Ahmed Lawan was the candidate they favoured.

I cannot state with certainty that Ahmed Lawan is behind this; even in the Villa, he is not as influential as Tunde. In actuality, he is one of those who oppose Godwin Emefiele's naira swap program. It was evident because he was furious that the Presidency did not include the National Assembly in the process before the President approved the redesign of the naira. Therefore, Ahmed Lawan is not included.

The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice (Abubakar Malami SAN) did not participate in the campaign, and you may also see individuals such as Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, who is not supporting the ticket. He did not come out and say it publicly, but it is obvious that he does not support it. Someone close to him told me that, as a devoted Catholic, he cannot support the Muslim-Muslim ticket; this is likely the reason why he does not back Tinubu.
