Engr. Felix Akpoyibo, Convener of the New Delta Grassroot Movement, has congratulated Hon. Barr. Matthew Onojighofia Omonade on his victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for the Ughelli North Constituency I seat in the Delta State House of Assembly.
In a congratulatory message, Akpoyibo described Omonade's emergence as the APC candidate as a clear demonstration of the confidence and trust party members have in his leadership, dedication to public service, and commitment to the development of the constituency.
He noted that Omonade's tenure in the Delta State House of Assembly has been marked by impactful representation, progressive legislative contributions, and people-centred empowerment programmes that have positively impacted the lives of many constituents. According to him, the lawmaker's support for market women, artisans, youths, and other vulnerable groups has earned him widespread admiration across the constituency.
Akpoyibo stated that the primary election victory is not only a recognition of Omonade's achievements in office but also a reaffirmation of the faith reposed in his ability to continue providing quality representation and effective leadership for the people of Ughelli North Constituency I.
