I’m Heading to the DSS Office Now to Honor Their Invitation Concerning a Post I Made~ Dr Tsiga

Today, I am on my way to the office of the Department of State Services (DSS) to honor an invitation they extended to me regarding a post I recently made.

As a citizen who believes in the rule of law and the responsibilities that come with freedom of expression, I consider it important to respond to such invitations in a calm and respectful manner.

In a democratic society, citizens have the right to express their opinions on matters of public interest. At the same time, state institutions also have the responsibility to address issues they believe require clarification.

When such situations arise, dialogue and lawful engagement are essential to maintaining trust between the public and government institutions.

My decision to honor the invitation reflects my belief that transparency and accountability are important for both citizens and authorities.

If questions arise about something I have written, I believe the appropriate approach is to appear, clarify my position, and allow due process to take its course.

Freedom of expression is a cornerstone of any democratic society, but it also comes with responsibility.

As someone who writes and shares opinions on public issues, I understand that my words may sometimes attract attention, criticism, or scrutiny. That is part of the broader conversation that exists in an open society.

As I head to the DSS office, my hope is that this engagement will be conducted in a professional and respectful manner.

Institutions of state and members of the public both have roles to play in protecting the values of democracy, justice, and fairness.

Ultimately, a strong society is one where citizens can speak, institutions can respond within the law, and both sides remain committed to dialogue rather than confrontation. Today’s visit is simply part of that process.
