The African Democratic Congress (ADC) stakeholders in Kebbi State have dismissed a purported list circulating on various social media platforms, which claims to contain the names and contact details of alleged ADC State Chairmen across Nigeria.
In a statement issued on Friday, the stakeholders described the publication as “misleading, mischievous, and designed to cause confusion,” urging the general public, party members, and the media to disregard the list in its entirety.
According to the statement, the list did not emanate from the ADC National Headquarters, which remains the only authorized source of official party information and communication.
The group alleged that certain “agents of destruction” with affiliations to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) were behind the false publication, accusing them of attempting to infiltrate and destabilize the ADC through unauthorized claims and misinformation.
The statement reaffirmed that Abubakar A. Malami, SAN, remains the undisputed leader of the ADC in Kebbi State, enjoying the “unwavering support, loyalty, and respect of the party faithful both within the state and across Nigeria.”
It further noted that Malami’s leadership and commitment to unity, progress, and democratic ideals have continued to position the ADC as a credible political force in the country.
“For the avoidance of doubt, any official communication, announcement, or clarification must come directly from the National Headquarters of the party,” the stakeholders emphasized.
They also pledged continued loyalty to the ADC’s national leadership and reaffirmed their commitment to the principles of unity, transparency, and service that define the party’s identity.
