Senate Reopens Senator Natasha’s Office

By Zainab Imam

The National Assembly has reopened the office of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, after months under seal.

Her office, located in Suite 2.05 of the Senate Wing, was officially unsealed on Tuesday by the Deputy Director of the Sergeant-at-Arms, Alabi Adedeji. The development comes just days before the Senate is scheduled to reconvene on October 7, 2025, raising expectations of her return to plenary.

Senator Natasha had, only last week, formally written to the leadership of the upper chamber notifying them of her readiness to resume legislative duties after serving a six-month suspension.

Further details are expected in the coming days.
