In recognition of his unwavering commitment and exemplary service to the nation, former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Barrister Abubakar Malami, has been officially honoured with the title of National Patron by the Alliance for Transformation Mandates (ATM).
The leadership of ATM presented the letter of investiture to Malami today, June 16, 2025, at his private office in Abuja, in a brief but symbolic ceremony that highlighted the group’s admiration for his role in national development.
In the letter signed by the Director-General and Convener of ATM Nigeria, Ambassador Enobong Inyang, the organization described Malami as a dependable statesman whose selfless contributions continue to inspire patriotic Nigerians across party lines.
"This is a clarion call on you to double your selfless service to our nation building and your collaboration in building ATM to the pride of our admiration," the letter stated.
The group emphasized the urgency for a new leadership direction, stating that a united movement driven by vision, purpose, and commitment — such as ATM — has the potential to transform Nigeria's political landscape.
Malami, now a symbol of inspiration for the association, is expected to contribute to its strategic direction as it positions itself for future national relevance.
The group concluded that, “such a collective force can challenge even the most entrenched systems, including an incompetent administration at the highest level of governance, such as the presidency.”
ATM, with its slogan "Uniting Nigeria," reaffirmed its commitment to mobilizing for a better future, beginning with the recognition of tested and trusted leaders like Malami.
