In a renewed show of commitment to the growing Malami 2027 governorship movement, Babangida Alkali Saidu has led a high-powered delegation from the Zuru Emirate to Abuja to consult with former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN).
Accompanied by Mohammed Yusuf Master and the Coordinator of the Malami Support Organization from the Zuru Emirate, the visit served as a strategic reaffirmation of the region’s loyalty to the project and their readiness to mobilize grassroots support ahead of the 2027 elections.
During the meeting, Babangida Alkali Saidu underscored the deep-rooted desire of the people of Zuru to see Malami at the helm of affairs in Kebbi State, praising his leadership qualities, national experience, and commitment to justice and development. He assured that the Zuru bloc is fully aligned with the vision of a progressive Kebbi under Malami’s stewardship.
Mohammed Yusuf Master echoed the sentiment, stating that the support organization has already commenced sensitization and mobilization efforts across the emirate. He described the Malami project as a people-driven movement that cuts across party lines and tribal sentiments.
In response, Malami expressed appreciation for the continued support from Zuru and reaffirmed his dedication to inclusive governance, youth empowerment, and infrastructural development in Kebbi State. He encouraged the group to remain united and focused on the greater goal of transformation and service delivery.
As consultations intensify, the Zuru Emirate's show of loyalty is seen as a major step in consolidating Malami’s base and strengthening his chances ahead of the 2027 polls.
