Democratic System Is a Beautiful Game: Why Should Tinubu's Government Be Afraid Of Malam Nasiru El-Rufai?

Politics is a game of strategy, calculations, and communication, where individuals try to convince others to support their agenda and vote for them during elections. It's a delicate balance of art and science, requiring politicians to understand their strengths, weaknesses, and the landscape of their constituency. Politics is a game of calculations, strategy, communication and try to convince your listener about your agenda and programs that you have to win his support and get his vote during the election time. 

In a democratic system, opposition is a crucial element, providing an alternative recipe for citizens to choose from. It's a key aspect of the game, allowing for diverse perspectives and ideas to emerge. Opposition in politics is like a product presented in a marketplace, where customers (citizens) can test and choose their preferred option.

Now, when it comes to Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Nasiru El-Rufai, both are seasoned politicians with their own strengths and weaknesses. Intelligence and smartness are subjective qualities, difficult to measure or compare. However, in the game of politics, what matters most is the ability to connect with people, understand their needs, and provide effective solutions. Malam Nasiru Elrufa'i and the current Federal Government should continue to tell the Nigerians what they can do to solve the problem of Nigeria. The APC, APGA, PDP, SDP, NNPP and all other political parties have the right to tell Nigerians the way and means that will make the nation be developed. Pure and simple and that's politics for you. 

Tinubu's government shouldn't be afraid of El-Rufai or any other opposition figure. As this writing understands that Malam Nasiru Elrufa'i seems to be not afraid of the government of the day, they should focus on delivering their promises, being transparent and accountable, and engaging with citizens to understand their concerns. In a democratic system, the true test of a government's strength lies in its ability to respond to criticism, adapt to changing circumstances, and prioritize the needs of its citizens. 

In political strategy it's absolutely imperative for any politician to know his "soft theorem areas, battle ground areas and swing areas". Based on that calculation politicians will come to know if he or his political party will win or otherwise. Therefore, there is no fight in the political democratic system. It depends upon how the political party or election contestant makes his/her calculations rightly or wrongly. Witch-hunting, intimidation and violence can destroy this 25 years hard earned democratic system in Nigeria. Niger Republic, B/Faso and Mali should be an excellent example for Nigerian leaders to take note. For Nigeria to develop; economic stability, food security and security of want as well as tackling stagflation is a must. Otherwise, Nigerians are getting angry and afraid of this type of “Western Capitalist System”. 

Ultimately, the beauty of democracy lies in its ability to provide a platform for diverse voices, ideas, and perspectives to emerge. As there's no fight in a democratic system; it's a game of calculations, strategy, and communication as said above; where the winner is determined by the people.That's why experts defined politics as a "science" while others argued that politics is an "art". Hence, the majority of the experts see politics as both "science and art". So, Tinunubu's government should focus on telling Nigerians what they have achieved in the past two years and the possibility of more achievements in the next two years.
