The Kano State Commissioner for Tourism and Culture, Hajiya Aisha Lawan Saji Rano, has extended heartfelt New Year greetings to the Governor of Kano State, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, and the leader of Kwankwasiyya, Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, as the state welcomes 2025.
Hajiya Aisha also directed her New Year message to the staff of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, as well as the entire people of Kano State. She urged the ministry's staff to remain committed and diligent in carrying out their responsibilities effectively.
Reflecting on the challenges of the past year, she described 2024 as a period marked by hardship and significant obstacles. However, she expressed confidence that the strategic blueprint of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf would address these challenges, ushering in meaningful progress and empowerment for the less privileged.
The commissioner called on her team to maintain unity, provide unwavering support, and work relentlessly to improve the lives of Kano residents. She emphasized the administration's dedication to advancing education, enhancing living standards, and unlocking the state's tourism and cultural potential in the new year.
