Even though I have never met him personally, and he may not know me, the enviable record of Mallam Modibo Kawu speaks volumes about his character and contributions in the public space. He is not just an intellectual gem but also an erudite scholar and a mentor of high repute. His humility and administrative prowess have set him apart as a leader of unmatched caliber, both locally, nationally, and internationally.
Mallam Kawu’s unassuming yet amiable personality makes him a rare and worthy figure in leadership, a person truly deserving of admiration. It is for this reason that I have always held him in the highest regard and will continue to do so. His dedication to his work and the impact he has made are truly remarkable.
I fervently pray that people like him will never be scarce in our society, especially in Kwara State and Nigeria as a whole. Men of his stature are the pillars that hold communities and nations together, and their presence is a blessing to all.
As he continues to grow in age and wisdom, I wish Mallam Kawu a long and successful life, filled with the fear of God and a commitment to serving humanity. I am confident that greater rewards await him, both in this life and in the hereafter, for his unwavering dedication and service.
