I pity my people because if Nigeria were a socialist state with strict laws and enforcement, many of us would face accountability for our actions. Reckless behavior, including daftness, irresponsibility, and corruption, would lead many Nigerians to 'protective custody'. Many would be liable for economic sabotage, looting, and misappropriation of public funds, which have become rampant. Nigeria's dysfunction stems from self-acclaimed patriots feasting on public resources, growing fat while pretending to care about the country's woes. They blame the government for the nation's problems but conceal their harmful entrepreneurial endeavors that harm society. These individuals prioritize personal gain over collective progress, exploiting public trust while masquerading as concerned citizens. They live off the masses, benefiting from resources, labor, or suffering without contributing fairly to their well-being. They exploit the system, people, or resources for personal gain, often at the cost of others' welfare or progress.
However, I salute the resilience of men of goodwill, whose survival instincts and traits continue to preach hope. They have consigned themselves as agents of the Renewed Hope Agenda, surviving on empty stomachs, refusing to eat even when famished, and declining to drink from the poisoned chalice that would quench their thirst. Their selflessness and dedication to the greater good are a beacon of light in a sea of darkness. We will not despair to surrender to jackals and hyenas.
For those who are consciously reaping benefits from the farm without contributing to its cultivation, beware that the consequences of your actions will catch up with you. You have not toiled to plant, nurture, or protect the crops, yet you enjoy the harvest. However, the genuine farmers who have dedicated their sweat and blood to the land will ultimately reap the rewards of their labor. Meanwhile, your nemesis - the karma of your exploitation - will hunt you down, and you will face the repercussions of your actions. The universe has a way of balancing the scales, and those who have taken advantage of others' hard work will eventually face the music.
