Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has garnered praise from the All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership for his exemplary role in overseeing the Ondo State Governorship primary election. Serving as the chairman of the committee, Governor Ododo's commendable performance was highlighted during the presentation of the committee's report to the APC's national chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, at the party's national secretariat in Abuja.
Dr. Ganduje, in receiving the report, extended congratulations to Governor Ododo for his stellar execution of the task, noting it as the Governor's inaugural national assignment. The APC national chairman lauded Governor Ododo's exceptional leadership and the transparency demonstrated throughout the process, particularly emphasizing the meticulous collation of results witnessed on national television.
Expressing gratitude to the APC National Working Committee for entrusting him and his committee members with the crucial assignment, Governor Ododo underscored the comprehensive nature of the report, which encapsulates all aspects of the primary election. He affirmed that the recommendations therein are geared towards fostering unity within the party and ensuring a cohesive approach towards the upcoming November governorship election in Ondo State.
Accompanied by key figures including Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, Honourable Abdullahi Bello, Honourable Abdulrahim Egidi, and Barr. Deedat Ozigi Salami, Governor Ododo's delegation presented a united front, reflecting the party's commitment to upholding democratic principles and maintaining cohesion as it gears up for future electoral contests.
