Army Rescues Abducted Victim and Apprehends Kidnappers in Taraba State

In a decisive move against criminal elements, the Troops of 6 Brigade Nigerian Army orchestrated a daring raid on a kidnappers' stronghold in Taraba State. The operation, executed in Kofa Adamu village of Takum Local Government Area, resulted in the liberation of a captive and the capture of three suspected kidnappers.

Responding to actionable intelligence regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Hussein Adamu, abducted on March 26, 2024, the troops from the 93 Battalion/Sub-Sect 3A OPWS swiftly encircled the area, effecting the rescue of the victim and apprehending the perpetrators.

The victim, presently under medical care at a secure facility, owes his freedom to the gallant efforts of the Nigerian Army. Meanwhile, the detained suspects remain in military custody, undergoing rigorous interrogation.

This bold operation underscores the unwavering resolve of the 6 Brigade Nigerian Army in the fight against crime, particularly in Taraba State. Brigadier General KC Uwa, Commander of 6 Brigade/Setor 3 OPWS, lauded the troops for their swift action and urged the public to remain vigilant, offering continued support by promptly reporting any suspicious activities to the authorities.
