The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has awarded Mr. Olufemi Soneye, Chief Corporate Communications Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd (NNPC Ltd), with the prestigious 2024 Distinguished Spokesperson in Oil & Gas Award. The accolade, presented during the National Spokespersons' Awards at the International Conference Centre in Abuja, recognizes Soneye's exceptional management of Africa's largest oil and gas company's image.
Represented by Mrs. Oluwakemi Olumuyiwa, Head of Relationship & Stakeholder Management, Soneye dedicated the award to Mr. Mele Kyari, NNPC Ltd's Group Chief Executive Officer, for his steadfast support and guidance. He also commended the Corporate Communications Team for their collaborative efforts and commitment to excellence.
Expressing gratitude, Soneye emphasized that the award serves as motivation for the entire team to continue upholding the highest standards of communication and representing NNPC Ltd and the sector with excellence.
