Kano Politics and the Ego in Us by Hon. Ibrahim Garba

Our greatest need is to be freed and live in peace, for they alone can separate us from being one and united. The curiosity was why can't we be together and pursue a common goal to build our state. It is the most fearful thing despite the political differences, philosophy, and school of thought. Knowing the problem from how we think in our political existence, there is a need for hard work to overcome the challenge of division.

 One of  the major problems is from  the point of fear to the point of selfishness, pride, arrogance, and  jealousy. We have lost a true meaning  about consciousness that invades not just our bodies  but the bodies of everyone around us is opposition.

Complete consciousness is possible and necessary to the survival of our coexistence and unity by our political elites. The ego that keeps us gripped in fear about losing  power is the worst thing we must eradicate. There are many challenges around us that must convince us to look at our society, the innocent citizens, children, youths, and unfortunate families. Political elites have the whole things about me, myself, and I kind of game. For how long will this continue?

The actual goal is to work to be somebody who will make history and contribute to the development of humanity within democratic and civil rights. In today's politics, it is the opposite direction of people becoming thieves, autocratic, dictators, corrupt, and mass murders. 

We exhaust ourselves in the process of striving for something insignificant by chasing a chimerical. If we do not work to achieve something meaningful, the courage we need to build to be united and progress will be unrealized endlessly and changeless.

I must admit, there is a need for  serious discussion and debate creating sound way too about our political future, really. We often do much more afraid mentally and  emotionally to engage opposition in a civil manner to resolve issues of political ideology really. 

Instead, we use the youths as a scapegoat for fearing to accept a moment of failure with a less logical maneuver to conclude in conflict. We locked our sight from seeing reality but brought unpeaceful and unpleasant ideology to the youth. Peace and respect are not to be taken away because of politics. The ego that we possess kills us within and destroys any project to uplift our state.
