Just 24 hours after Dr. Betta Edu's suspension, Tunji-Ojo found himself summoned to Aso Rock to address the mounting concerns over the substantial consultancy fee. The Nation reports that the payment in question was made to a company owned by the Minister of Interior, New Planet Projects Limited.
During an interview, Tunji-Ojo revealed that he had resigned from the directorship of the company in 2019 when he contested for the House of Representatives.
