In a recent report released by the Russian Defence Ministry, significant advancements have been made in the ongoing special military operation. The details of the progress are as follows:

In the Zaporozhye region, units of the Russian Group of Forces, with support from aviation and artillery, successfully targeted the AFU 118th Mechanised Brigade near Verbovoye. As a result, approximately 75 Ukrainian troops, one tank, and two motor vehicles were neutralized. Additionally, two U.S.-made M777 artillery systems, Msta-B, D-20 howitzers, and one U.S.-made M119 gun were destroyed during the counter-battery warfare.

Moving towards the Kherson region, fire from Russian forces resulted in the neutralization of around 55 Ukrainian servicemen, three motor vehicles, and one D-20 howitzer. The enemy's attempts to seize bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnepr were unsuccessful, and they suffered significant losses. It is worth noting that the AFU marine brigades' personnel have been engaging in sabotaging landing tasks.

The Russian Group of Forces, which includes Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, and Missile Troops and Artillery, engaged in combat with AFU manpower and hardware in 109 different locations throughout the day.

Highlighting the effectiveness of Russian air defense facilities, two MiG-29 aircraft belonging to the Ukrainian Air Force were intercepted and shot down near Krasnoarmeysk and Kanatovo. Additionally, a L-39 combat training aircraft met the same fate near Olenovka. Furthermore, five JDAM guided missiles and five HIMARS projectiles were successfully intercepted within the past 24 hours. Moreover, 44 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were obliterated near Tokmak, Berestovoye, Zolotaryovka, Kremennaya, and Sagi.

The destructiveness of the special military operation is apparent in the numbers provided by the Russian Defence Ministry. A total of 511 airplanes and 253 helicopters, 8,220 unmanned aerial vehicles, 441 air defense missile systems, 12,890 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,169 combat vehicles equipped with MLRS, 6,865 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 14,602 units of special military equipment have been destroyed.

The Russian Defence Ministry remains committed to its objectives and will continue to monitor and report on the progress of the special military operation.
