Buhari's Cabinet And The Nemesis Of Betrayal | Abuja Network News.

By Mohammed Bello Doka.
Emefiele and Bawa have been blown away by the wind of Balablue grasping for air while they chock and drown in the pool of tears and blood of innocent masses.

Similarly, the wind has carried and buried the service chiefs, heads of parastatals and the rest whose bleak future gleams in uncertainty.

Even the mighty Daura and his flamboyant aides have been razed by the event, fortune has turned her back and unleashed its fury to rival the devastating cuts of Aires arrow.

The remaining appointees, the likes of Hadi Sirika, Abubakar Malami all scramble to breathe hoping that the wind of Balablue might be broken by the shrubs of sympathy and goodwill.

President Buhari must be watching somewhat quizzically and smiling from afar through the protection of his glass house, alas being careful enough not to throw a stone akin to the dwellers of glass houses.

The result of betrayal and the joy of watching his betrayers being punished for their sins and having the pleasure to witness a sweet revenge not from his hands.

President Buhari has put so much trust in his cabinet, it took him a good 6 months to scrutinize, consult, select and choose his most trusted allies who will help him deliver on his lifelong ambition of saving Nigerians from the shackles of poverty, corruption and misgoverning.

He provided them with everything necessary, gave them whatever they wanted and funded whatever project they initiated only to abuse the said privilege, betray Nigerians, the President and, above all, themselves and their family.

They used the opportunity to enrich themselves, their family and cronies with impunity and celebrated arrogance never mindful of what the future holds and absent fear of the cruelty of fortune and the sharp blades' of nemesis that has littered the terrible pages of history with men who abandon caution at the altar of the glitter of power.

Many of them carved some mini gods' statue out of themselves, arrogate the powers to determine who lives and who dies to themselves and the powers to enrich and to bankrupt anyone at will.

They steal with rakeless abundance and even try to kill the very party that gave them the platform they rode for their assumed powers absent prowess or any special skills.

Mr. Buhari's non charlant attitude, lack of supervision and the necessary punishment to caution offenders only heighten their arrogance and ingrained their ill-conceived notion that the sun will never cease to shine.

The North, which has been the major beneficiary of appointments in the Cabinet, became a theater of bloodshed.  Illiteracy, and unemployment skyrocketed while Buhari's selected few swim in riches and affluence when the majority wallow in abject poverty.

The result was an impoverished, frustrated, hungry and angry society. Hurling insults at the President while they watch from far, rather than protecting him, often time they collude with his enemies to disgrace and disparage his legacy.

They cry more than the bereaved and wail more than the orphan.  While they swim in stolen wealth amidst scorn and mockery of those who worked so hard and sacrificed everything to get them to their El Dorado, which they in their fickle minds assume will last forever.

The result is a frustrated President.  Angry and sorrowful, eager to retire to his farm and find solace in the company of his cows, who are more worthy of trust and easier to rule than ungrateful and backstabbing followers and confidants.  Days passed like hours and behold the hour had arrived.

Behold the day of recompense.  The day when everyone answers the name of their forebears. The wind of Balablue blowing ever stronger, clearing everything in its sights and pardoning no one of their crime.

Nigerians can only but merry and cheer, at last their hope has been renewed.
