Vladimir Putin Meet Sadr Zhaparov Of Kyrgyz Republic In The Kremlin.

The agenda includes the current state and prospects for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, issues of further strengthening Russian-Kyrgyz relations of strategic partnership and alliance, interaction within integration associations, as well as regional and international issues.

Vladimir Putin: Dear Sadyr Nurgozhoevich, Dear colleagues, friends!

We are very glad to see you all in Moscow, especially on the eve of Victory Day. This is a significant event that you are with us at this time.

We all know and remember that 360,000 residents of Kyrgyzstan went to the front at one time and more than half - 134,000, I think - did not return.

I know that you were in Rzhev together with the Chairman of the State Duma of Russia, laid flowers there, paid tribute to the memory of those who died and fought on this sector of the front.

As for our current relations, they are on the rise. Our trade turnover increased by 37 percent last year. Russia is the largest investor, and we rank first in terms of direct investment. And I am sure that this trend will only gain strength and gain momentum.

I am very glad that we have the opportunity to start our discussion, our working meeting in such a broad composition. Once again, we are very glad to see you.
