It is one of the fundamental laws of power that every Prince who succeeds to the crown must do away with the old cabinet, the old order that's loyal to the outgoing king and form his own, which derives its powers and authority directly from him.
Although this law might seem outdated, but every true student of power knows the consequences of abusing this law both in the ancient times and today.
The most recent example is the current and outgoing Government of President Muhammadu Buhari which the President-elect helped to bring in to power. The major problem faced by Buhari resulted from sabotage from within his cabinet, members; from ministers, heads of departments and agencies whose loyalty lies in different quarters. To make matters worse, the President had absolute trust in them. They sabotaged almost every move and every good policy designed to bring succor to the masses and encouraged those initiated by them with the intent to cause more hardship to the citizens in order to pitch the citizens against the government.
Elsewhere, the story has been the same, to avoid this type of mistake, Asiwaju must shop for fresh and capable hands to lead the renewed hope project and lead the country to the promised land.
The importance of forming your cabinet out of fresh and capable hands as well as people who have proven their loyalty and commitment is that you have a total control over it. You also have some level of confidence in its members.
I will also advise that Asiwaju should consider young and vibrant Nigerians who have proven their commitment, love, and loyalty to the renewed hope project.
It's in this light that I'm making a case for a young, vibrant and committed Bat-ist in the person of Amb. (Dr.) Adegboyega Bamisile to be included in the next cabinet. The wisdom behind including freshers into your Cabinet is they will forever remain loyal and committed to your overall course. These are people that can also live and die for their principal because they see him as only second to God in their career.
Dr. Adegboyega has indeed shown his capacity over the years, he has shown his large heart before and even during the campaign by helping to fund various support groups from his hard-earned money. His philanthropic activities have been acknowledged by different individuals, organizations and groups.
His appointment will also go a long way in boosting the confidence of the young persons in Nigeria and the world over who have been at the head of this struggle.
