Emotions were high when an inec presiding officer shared a tweet on her twitter handle insisting that Obi must win the elections. And even directing obidients on how to vote for Obi in the ballot paper.
Immediately after the tweet angry Nigerians took to their handles and continue to criticize the action also calling on thr Inec and other relevant agencies to do the needful and discontinue her service from that capacity as presiding officer because she has compromised her oath of service.
Although the lady in question has deleted the tweet and somehow taken down the handle or have changed its user name, sharp fingers were able to get the screenshot of the tweet and her picture in split seconds.
Investigation are ongoing to find out the state, local government and the exact polling unit the officer in question who identified as Chidinma Okorie on her twitter handle is working as a presiding officer.
Unconfirmed reports says the lady is serving in one of the FCT polling units, but investigations are ongoing to ascertain the truth.
The digits on her inec tag were visible in the picture so it will be easy for Inec officers to identify her.
Similarly our correspondent reported how he was maltreated by soldiers in Lugbe primary school polling unit number 009 for recording a vehicle branded with stickers of Peter Obi going out of the election venue amidst heavy crowd in the watchful eyes of the soldiers.
Which is contrary to the electoral act and INEC guidelines.
