How Does Atiku Even Hope To Win ? By Jesutega Onokpasa.

Short of a most weird and totally insane miracle there is no way that People's Democratic Party PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubarkar can possibly win this election.

Candidates for elections are sponsored by political parties, whose structures they rely on for electoral mileage.

As it stands, Atiku Abubarkar simply has no party behind him.

1. Since 1999, yesterday was the first time that the PDP will campaign in Cross River without a PDP Governor in the state;

2. Since 1999, yesterday was the first time that a Cross River state PDP chairman, gubernatorial candidate, all senatorial, house of representatives and house of assembly candidates will be boycotting a PDP presidential campaign rally;

3. Since 1999, this is the first time that PDP will not hold a presidential campaign rally in Rivers state because of fear of the shame an empty stadium will bring the party and its candidate;

4. Since 1999, this is the first time that a PDP Benue State Governor would boycott a PDP presidential campaign rally in Makurdi;

5. Since 1999, this is the first time that the PDP will go to Oyo state and the state’s party chairman, an incumbent PDP Governor, commissioners etc would be boycotting a presidential campaign rally;

6. Since 1999, this is the first time that Chief Bode George did not attend a PDP presidential rally in Lagos;

7. Since 1999, this is the first time that Ayo Fayose would not be attending a PDP presidential campaign in Ekiti State;

8. Since 1999, this is the first time that an Abia state Governor would be boycotting a PDP presidential campaign rally in Umuahia;

Nobody who loves Nigeria should be afraid.

Atiku Abubarkar, no matter what sabotages, subterfuges or shenanigans he might come up with to torment the Nigerian people all in a bid to attain his inordinate ambition to become president of a country he clearly does not love and apparently does not even come from, in the first place, is in no position to defeat Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
