It was a sight to behold at the prestigious Lagos Oriental Hotel Victoria Island the venue of the 6th edition of the Nigerian Youth Achievers Award 2023 where prominent personalities who have distinguished themselves from various strata of human endeavor were awarded the prestigious achievers award 2023.
It was by no means a surprise that Dr. Adebgoyega Bamisile was considered worthy of this prestigious award, an accomplished administrator, a philanthropist and a politician who has distinguished himself in these respective spheres.
The award is also a recognition of Dr Gboyega's sterling performance in furthering humanity as a Humanitarian, social development expert, an international commodities broker, and a politician serving as the Deputy Chief of Staff to Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong, the Executive Governor of Plateau State and the Director General of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council.
Dr. Gboyega's love and attachment to philanthropy and the search for knowledge has been acknowledged right from his days as a student in Edinburgh where he played a major role in assisting, mentoring and counselling younger Nigerians to excel in various fields of endeavor.
After graduating from Edinburgh Napier University BA (Hons) in Management and handing in a research paper on Cultural Differences in Multinationals at Craiglockhart Business School in Edinburgh, Adegboyega has since returned to his motherland to participate in establishing some of the leading companies in the continent and sits at the board of a few of these companies to steer, promote and organize policies that affect the bottom-line of our national economy. To mention but a few, he coordinated the empowerment and support to over a thousand farmer beneficiaries in Ekiti State of the Central Bank’s (CBN) Anchor Borrowers’ Program, guaranteeing production of Aflatoxin-free maize and negotiated the off-taker structure and agreement with Flour Mills of Nigeria to a value of $1,018,660 in collaboration with Nigeria Incentive-based Risk Sharing System for Agricultural Lending (NIRSAL). A first in 2017 in the Southwest, this project saw a positive shift in the organization and reorientation of the state farmers in the specific local governments.
He is an Alumnus of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he bagged a degree in Public Sector Administration during the period between 2009-2013 when he served in the Federal Civil as SA to erstwhile DG of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology. He went on to establish his consultancy in FinTech, St. Adba Limited and has since then continued research and engagement in developing a world-class commodities exchange app that will take advantage of the newly signed agreement establishing the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). Adegboyega is a Fellow of Nigerian Institute of Management, a member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma (Business Process Improvement), convener and promoter of Anchor Nigeria, a bi partisan socio-political and economic group that seeks to empower young persons and drive advocacy for good governance and youth inclusion. He is the Director of Planning, Research and Strategy for Bola Tinubu Support Organization (BTSO) and the National Coordinator of Better Nigeria for Asiwaju (BNA). He is an implementer with IITA where he uses his expertise as a social development expert to improve the lives of Commodity farmers especially in areas of creating access to finance, market and assisting with their production employing Good Agronomic Practices. Dr. Adegboyega Bamisile is the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Director General of the Tinubu/Shettima APC Presidential Campaign Council.
