Was Bola Tinubu A Bad Person Since 1998?

This masterpiece was allegedly written by Dr Joseph Okolie with the title "Like Funsho Williams, Like Adeleke".

I have however expunged the last paragraph to justify my own narrative.

Dr. Okolie wrote, "Late Anthony Funsho Williams knows what it takes to face a Bola Tinubu. Tinubu never backs down; he never gives up; he is intelligent and more importantly, he plans years ahead of his opponents. Funsho realised this late.

In 1998 AD primaries, two candidates were top contenders: Funsho Williams and Bola Tinubu. Of course, Williams was richer and more popular having served as a commissioner in Lagos under Olagunsoye Oyiinlola. But Tinubu was Years in scheming ahead.

The leaders of AD made several rules to ensure the elections were free and fair. One of the rules is to cancel elections in any area there were reports of violence.

So voting started. Violence only erupted in Funsho's strongholds. So there were all cancelled. And Tinubu won. He went on to win the Gubernatorial election. It took over 4 years to figure out why it was only in Funsho's strongholds that violence erupted. Tinubu instigated them. But that is a man ahead of his opponents.

What would Funsho have done? Stop this violence or instigate violence in Tinubu's strongholds too. He was asleep.

Consequently, he lost the primaries, and went on to lose his life in 2006. And so slept on.

A repeat happened in Osun state yesterday, 27/01/23. Tinubu could not get INEC to reverse itself on BVAS so while Adeleke slept on his Imole slogan, Tinubu used the same electoral laws that enabled BVAS to usurp his mandate.

*The law says that if there is over voting in any polling unit, the entire polling unit will be cancelled.* Have you wondered why only the units of Adeleke's strongholds had over voting.

It means that if you have 3000 votes here and APC has 10. Total is 3,010 votes. If an APC agent connives with INEC official to add just one vote, the entire 3,011 votes will be cancelled. Again, Adeleke lost his popular mandate."

And I want to inquire.
1. So the BVAS can be manipulated?
2. Was Dr. Okolie indicting Bola Tinubu for the incidence of over voting in Adeleke's strong holds? Also creating the impression that Tinubu has been a bad person since 1998.

THE QUESTIONABLE USE OF BVAS

INEC has made us to believe that the BVAS is infallible. Is it really?

Using the electoral act to punish a candidate for violence and over voting is unfairly harsh.

Stopping violence is the work of security agencies and stopping over voting is the work of INEC. Transferring the two burdens is itself criminal.
