Edu is known for her philanthropist gesture in many part of the country which earned her the reputation of one of the most performing women leaders of any political party in Nigeria's recent history.
Cross River State grassroots women were in high spirits ready to take the door-to-door campaigns to another Level following the massive Mobilisation of women in the state by the APC National Women Leader, Dr. Betta Edu. The National Women Leader did not only share bags of rice and wrappers with the women for the new year but also, gave women in each polling unit funds for logistics to begin their 2nd level of door-to-door Mobilisation.
In her words “ Cross River Women must lead by example, we will intensify the door-to-door campaigns for our Presidential Candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The National Women Leader used the opportunity to call on all Nigerian women to come out and actively work for the victory of Asiwaju Tinubu.
