A notorious bandit leader, Kachalla Sani Yellow, has been killed during a coordinated operation carried out by local vigilantes with the support of Nigerian security forces in Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
Reliable reports said the operation resulted in the elimination of Kachalla Sani Yellow, one of the most wanted bandit commanders responsible for terrorizing communities across Anka, Bukkuyum and Maru Local Government Areas.
The slain bandit leader was allegedly linked to a series of deadly attacks, kidnappings and other violent criminal activities that have plagued several communities in the North-West region for years.
Security sources described the operation as a major breakthrough in the ongoing campaign against banditry in Zamfara State, noting that it reflects the growing collaboration between local vigilantes and security agencies in combating armed criminal groups.
The successful operation is expected to boost ongoing security efforts aimed at restoring peace and protecting residents in Zamfara and other parts of the North-West.
