A wave of terror swept through Tsamiya town in Kebbi State late on Saturday as suspected terrorists launched a brutal attack, setting buildings ablaze and abducting a prominent resident. The Kebbi State Police Command confirmed the assault, which occurred on the night of June 20, plunging the quiet community into chaos and fear. Armed assailants stormed the town, firing indiscriminately as they moved through the streets, leaving a trail of destruction that included a makeshift checkpoint of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, a local brothel, and the home of a resident identified as Sule Mai Goge. In the midst of the violence, the terrorists seized Alhaji Yusuf Bazamfare, a well-known figure in the community, before vanishing into the night .
