ADC Storms Suru/Bagudo: Stakeholders Ignite Grassroots Revolution

In a bold move to reposition the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as the people’s party, stakeholders of the ADC, acting on the directive of Hon. Faruk Ibrahim Illo, stormed Suru Local Government in a massive grassroots mobilization drive that has set the political landscape of Kebbi buzzing.
The high-powered delegation toured Daniya/Shema, Dandane, Ginga, Giro, Kwaifa, and Suru wards, engaging directly with party supporters, community leaders, and everyday citizens in what many described as a “political awakening” for the area.

The visit was not just symbolic but strategic—designed to solidify the ADC’s presence at the grassroots, bridge gaps among party loyalists, and reawaken the spirit of unity and purpose among members.
Speaking through his media aide, Haruna Umar Maikwari, Hon. Faruk Ibrahim Illo reassured the people of his unwavering commitment to inclusive governance and sustainable development that directly touches lives at the community level.

Residents poured out in large numbers, chanting solidarity songs and pledging loyalty to the ADC. Elders in the visited wards openly declared that the ADC’s message of hope and change resonates with their long-standing yearning for progress and development.
“The ADC has shown that politics is not about empty promises but about presence, engagement, and listening to the people,” one enthusiastic supporter declared.

Capping off the electrifying engagement, Hon. Faruk Ibrahim Illo fired a powerful message of hope: “We are building a movement rooted in the people, driven by unity, and committed to progress. Suru and Bagudo will no longer be left behind. With ADC, every voice matters, and every community will feel the impact of good governance.”
With this rallying declaration, political observers say the ADC has effectively lit a fire of grassroots mobilization that could shift the balance of power in Suru/Bagudo. For many residents, the ADC’s arrival is more than politics—it is the dawn of a new era.
