A delegation from the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Delta State chapter, yesterday, Saturday, September 13, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN, at his office in Abuja.
The delegation, led by key party executives, said the visit was aimed at strengthening ties and exploring areas of mutual collaboration in the political space. Members of the team commended Malami for his longstanding contributions to national development and his unwavering stance on justice, democracy, and rule of law in Nigeria.
Speaking during the visit, the ADC leaders praised Malami for his resilience in the face of recent political tensions in Kebbi State, where he has been a central figure. They described him as an inspiration for younger politicians across the country, noting that his role in shaping Nigeria’s democratic journey remains invaluable.In his response, Malami expressed appreciation for the solidarity visit and reiterated his commitment to advancing democratic ideals and supporting initiatives that promote unity and good governance across Nigeria. He further urged party leaders and stakeholders to focus on constructive engagement, dialogue, and inclusiveness as the nation prepares for future elections.
The visit ended with an exchange of goodwill messages and assurances of continued cooperation between Malami and the ADC leadership in Delta State.
