Ekiti Political Intimidation and Harassment: Shall Dog Eat Dog?

The title of this piece Shall Dog Eat Dog ? is a question whose answer is preposterous and therefore requires in-depth  thinking .

The happenings within the APC family today in Ekiti State gives room for concern considering that the government of the day is completely averse to democratic principle as it approaches election where the litmus test shall be put to action . In recent past the caucus of Engr Kayode Olubunmi Ojo (EKO) a frontline political gladiator in the race to the government house come 2026 have had to contend with needles altercations, harassment and intimidation by the draconian ,brutal and illegal forces of CSP Marcus Ogundola , Ekiti State RRS Commander,a supposedly neutral officer whose responsibility is to profess peace .

The experience has been such that each time the EKO  political family are holding strategic meetings for purpose of propagating the ideals and vision of our most esteemed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) , the CSP  Marcus led troops would easily swoop on innocent persons describing and tagging them as criminals , kidnappers and robbers . The situation is further aggravated by the shield CSP Marcus enjoys by residing in the premises of the government house in Ado Ekiti . 

As the whistle time is approaching to be blown  for the political contest,  it is hereby strongly advised that the security machinery of Mr Governor ,BAO is put in serious check . 

The situation seems to make a mockery of the Renewed Hope Agenda to imply that hostilities are highly renewed ! God forbid! 

Ekiti is too enlightened to allow some urchinistic, maladjusted and misguided people to put the state in anarchy. This is even more disturbing when it is an intra party cacophony. 

The peace loving nature of Engr Kayode Olubunmi Ojo ,(EKO)is to promote civility, harmony and friendship . It should however be noted that this docility is not an indication of weakness. We have the teeth to bite but the canines among them are hidden for more ferocious days ahead !
