In a move that has stirred fresh political excitement in Kebbi State, Alhaji Garba Suru, a respected elder statesman and former Executive of the Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (HYPPADEC), paid a strategic visit to former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN, at his private office in Abuja.
During the closed-door meeting, Garba Suru passionately called on Malami to throw his hat into the ring for the 2027 Kebbi State governorship election, describing him as the most credible and prepared figure to lead the state out of what he termed "years of stagnation and missed opportunities."
