Hon. Abubakar B. Sabo, a respected former member of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, was among the prominent northern political figures who gathered in Abuja on Sunday, May 11, 2025, for a crucial consultative meeting aimed at charting a new course for the region’s political future. The gathering, convened under the banner of the National Political Consultative Group North, brought together experienced statesmen, former public office holders, and influential stakeholders to deliberate on pressing issues of security, agriculture, and political restructuring across the 19 northern states.
With the North facing mounting socio-economic challenges and increasing calls for unity and reform, the meeting sought to identify practical solutions and create a common roadmap for regional development, peace, and inclusive governance. Hon. Abubakar B.
