Lagos Prominent PDP Chieftain and Indigenous Son of Lagos
We, the indigenous people of Lagos State, declare that Bola Ahmed Tinubu is our son, brother, father, grandfather, and uncle.
However, we also say without hesitation that:
He is a failure in governance.
He is a political businessman who prioritizes personal gain over national interest.
He is deeply tribalistic, using ethnicity to divide rather than unite.
He is selfish, placing his ambitions above the welfare of Nigerians.
He is not a good listener, ignoring the voices of the people.
He does not represent Nigeria’s or Yoruba interests—only his personal agenda.
Tinubu's political history is filled with inaction and deception. As a Senator representing Lagos West, he did nothing of significance. As Governor of Lagos State, he equally failed but masked his inefficiencies by using former Governors Babatunde Fashola and Akinwunmi Ambode as his cover-up strategy.
We warned Nigerians not to vote for him, yet many who did not know him personally believed the lies told by his political machinery. Many accepted bribes and incentives from him and the APC, especially from Oyo, Ogun, Ondo, and Ekiti States. Some Northerners and Easterners also joined in rigging the election for him, particularly in Rivers State, under the leadership of former Governor Nelson Wike and Governor Siminalayi Fubara. Today, even Rivers people are regretting their actions.
Despite our repeated warnings on radio, television, and social media, some Nigerians still rigged and voted for him. Now, we are all suffering the consequences together.
A Government of Nepotism and Control
Another shocking aspect of this government is its blatant nepotism.
Nobody ever heard about the first sons of former Presidents:
Goodluck Ebele Jonathan
Olusegun Obasanjo
Umaru Musa Yar’Adua
Muhammadu Buhari (except during his son's frequent accidents).
But when it was Tinubu’s turn, his first son has suddenly become Nigeria’s de facto Vice President.
What happened to the real Vice President, H.E. Kashim Shettima?
When last did Nigerians hear from him?
Has the office of the Vice President now become purely ceremonial under this government?
Clearly, this government is hiding something from Nigerians.
A Dictatorship in Disguise
Tinubu is greedy and dictatorial. His self-imposed dominance over Lagos is evident—almost every notable place is named after him or his family.
Nigerians are not enjoying this government anymore. The country is collapsing under bad policies, corruption, and selfish governance.
We, the true indigenous people of Lagos State, stand by our words:
We warned you! We did not vote for him! And now, everyone is feeling the pain of his leadership!
Let the truth be told
