In the wake of the devastating attacks that claimed over 150 lives in Plateau State, the 2023 Presidential Candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has called on authorities to ensure that those responsible are swiftly apprehended and brought to justice.

Civil society groups, including the Plateau Humanitarian Vanguard, have also called for justice, describing the attacks as a genocide against the citizens of Plateau State .

As the nation mourns the loss of innocent lives, there is a collective call for unity and decisive action to end the cycle of violence and ensure lasting peace in Plateau State and beyond.
