Aregbesola Rallies Omoluabi Progressives to Entench People-Friendly Governance

In a renewed call for unity, focus, and strategic mobilization, former Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, has once again ignited the political flames within the ranks of the Omoluabi Progressives, urging members to remain resolute in their pursuit of entrenching a People Friendly Government (PFG).

Speaking during the monthly meeting of the Omoluabi Progressives, Aregbesola emphasized the need to consolidate on past efforts by rallying individuals of nobility, integrity, competence, and character into the movement. The former Osun State Governor hailed the group’s unwavering spirit, stating that the time had come to act on the resolutions reached at the just concluded Stakeholders and Leadership Conference.

“As we forge ahead in this journey, we pledged to work on the resolutions of the Stakeholders and Leadership Conference in becoming more united, stronger, determined, and focused,” Aregbesola declared, reaffirming the group’s core ideology of One For All, All For One.

The Omoluabi Progressives, a political pressure bloc within the APC known for its grassroots appeal and ideological discipline, has been a consistent voice pushing for reforms, people-first policies, and internal party democracy.

Aregbesola expressed satisfaction at the growing momentum within the movement, adding, “I am thrilled that we are more than ever ready to work assiduously to achieve our dreams and entrench People Friendly Government.”

Political observers believe this renewed energy could signal fresh mobilization ahead of future political contests, especially within Osun and the South-West zone.

With the Omoluabi Progressives' base expanding and Aregbesola leading the charge, all eyes are on how this ideological resurgence will influence the broader APC structure and Nigeria’s political landscape.
