The training took place in Garo town, located in Kabo Local Government Area of Kano State, and brought together women from diverse backgrounds who came to acquire entrepreneurial skills and receive support to launch their own businesses.
In collaboration with Fhuzee and the Beyond the Barrier Initiative, the ADG Care Foundation launched the programme as part of its broader efforts to uplift women and girls in the region.
Chairman of the ADG Care Foundation, Engr. Rabi’u Aliyu Garo, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to providing comprehensive skills training for women, emphasizing that such empowerment initiatives are essential for improving their livelihoods and fostering community development.
In a statement released by the Foundation’s Director of Communications and Public Relations, Aliyu Abdul Garo, he further reiterated the organization’s dedication to supporting initiatives in education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and other pressing societal needs.
