The Nigeria Youth Organisation (NYO), a leading national youth advocacy body, has called for greater collaboration between private-sector leaders and youth-driven initiatives to enhance security, development, and economic opportunities for Nigerian youths. This appeal was made during a courtesy visit to Dr. Ezaka Ronald Ogochukwu, Chairman and CEO of Dreamdrew Group of Companies, at the company’s headquarters in Abuja.
The delegation, led by NYO’s National Executive President, Comrade Okorie C. Okorie emphasized that the NYO, founded in December 1980, remains a critical platform for advocating youth interests across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
A Call for Collective Responsibility in Security and Development
One of the key highlights of the visit was the official presentation of the 2025 Emblem of the Nigeria Youth Organisation (NYO), which carries two core messages:

- "As a Nigerian Youth, I Pledge to Support the Renewed Hope Nigeria Mantra of Making Security a Collective Responsibility."
Comrade Okorie stressed that security and stability are fundamental to youth development and economic progress. He called on Nigerian youths to take active roles in ensuring peace and security within their communities, aligning with the government's "Renewed Hope" agenda. He also lauded Dreamdrew Group for its unwavering commitment to youth development through its various corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. "Dr. Ezaka has demonstrated exceptional leadership by investing in young people and infrastructure that benefits Nigerians at large," Okorie remarked.

"Youth empowerment is a key driver of national development. As a company, we recognize the need to support initiatives that provide young Nigerians with the skills, opportunities, and resources needed to thrive. We are open to exploring avenues for collaboration with NYO in this regard," Dr. Ezaka stated.
A Renewed Commitment to Youth Development
The visit concluded with a renewed commitment from both parties to work together in promoting peace, youth inclusion in governance, and economic advancement. Comrade Okorie reiterated that NYO remains dedicated to creating a unified and progressive Nigeria, where young people play a central role in shaping the nation’s future.
