The Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency (NIHSA), Umar Ibrahim Mohammed, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah and all Nigerians on the auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In his special message to commemorate this joyous occasion, the DG/CEO congratulated Muslims across the country for their unwavering dedication, perseverance, and spiritual renewal during the fasting period. He underscored the significance of Eid-el-Fitr as a time of gratitude, charity, and the reinforcement of unity among Nigerians.

He assured the nation of NIHSA’s unwavering commitment to providing accurate hydrological data, early warning systems, and strategic advisory services to minimize flood risks and promote sustainable water resource management.
