Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has extended his deepest condolences to the Freedom Radio Group over the demise of one of its directors, Alhaji Shehu Dalhatu.
In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Governor Yusuf described the loss as a significant blow to the media industry. He praised the late director as a visionary leader and a pillar of the Freedom Radio family.
“His passing is a profound loss, not only to Freedom Radio but to the entire media landscape and our society at large,” the governor stated.
Governor Yusuf commended Alhaji Shehu Dalhatu’s unwavering dedication to journalism, emphasizing his integrity, commitment, and pursuit of truth and progress. He highlighted the late director’s contributions as an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire.
The governor offered prayers for Allah’s forgiveness and mercy upon the deceased, asking the Almighty to grant him Jannatul Firdaus and to provide strength and solace to his family, colleagues, and everyone affected by the loss.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Freedom Radio Group and the Alkali Dalhatu family during this challenging time,” the statement concluded.
