KWOYOPA Appeals to Kaduna State Government for Urgent Renovation of Historic Secondary School

By Hosea Parah, Abuja

The Kwoi Youth Progressive Association (KWOYOPA) has appealed to Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State, urging him to prioritize the renovation of Government Secondary School Ngarshang Kwoi, which is currently in a state of disrepair. In a statement released on Wednesday, KWOYOPA President Comrade Aminu Bako highlighted the urgent need for government intervention to improve the learning environment for students.
According to Bako, many classrooms at GSS Ngarshang Kwoi lack essential facilities, including windows and chairs, while the roofs are in dire condition. "The situation not only hampers the learning experience but also poses safety risks for the students," he stated. The association is calling for immediate action to address these pressing issues and to create a more conducive atmosphere for education.
GSS Ngarshang Kwoi holds significant historical value as one of the oldest secondary schools in Jaba Local Government. Over the years, it has produced a remarkable number of professionals, including professors, doctors, engineers, and even members of the House of Representatives. Bako emphasized the importance of preserving the school's legacy, stating, "The history of GSS Ngarshang Kwoi should not be forgotten, as it continues to be a breeding ground for future leaders and professionals."
The KWOYOPA's plea reflects the community's commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for its youth. With the support of Governor Uba Sani and the state government, there is hope that GSS Ngarshang Kwoi can be restored to its former glory, allowing it to continue shaping the lives of many young students in the region.
As the appeal gains traction, the community remains optimistic that their voices will be heard and that necessary actions will be taken to revitalize one of their most cherished institutions.
