The Tinubu Shettima Back to Farm Initiative has extended warm congratulations to Chief Francis Obigbor, Esq., on his assumption of office as the Acting Chairman of the Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement signed by its National Coordinator, Engr. Felix Akpoyibo, the group commended Chief Obigbor for his readiness to lead the party during this transitional period following the medical vacation of the substantive Chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie. The initiative also applauded Chief Obigbor for upholding the APC Constitution, particularly Article 14.2 (iii), which designates the Deputy State Chairman as the rightful officer to act in the absence of the State Chairman.
“This is a critical moment for the Delta APC, and Chief Obigbor’s emergence as Acting Chairman reflects his dedication and commitment to the growth of the party,” Engr. Akpoyibo said. “We are confident that his leadership will foster unity, strengthen the party, and set a solid foundation for future successes.”
The group further encouraged all party members to rally around Chief Obigbor, supporting him in consolidating the achievements of the APC in Delta State. It also called for adherence to the party’s principles and constitution, urging members to disregard unauthorized statements or actions that could undermine the leadership structure.
