Mr President, no matter the sincerity of your intentions, we need to let you know that your policies are not working, and your popularity is dropping. The masses are not happy with your administration.
Your Excellency, don't listen to what some sycophants in the Villa are telling you. The current disenchantment has nothing to do with Atiku, Obi, PDP or any of the opposition figures or parties. The dissatisfaction is organic. People are suffering.
What is on ground is not about getting re-elected in 2027. It is beyond that myopic thought. It is about your name and what would be said after your departure or exit from the Villa. Surely, either four or eight years, you will leave. That's just the stark reality. What people will say about you is crucial.
What the masses are passing through since the inception of your administration is beyond description. The socio-economic fabric of Nigerians have been shredded into pieces. The masses are languishing in abject penury and wallowing in the wilderness of poverty. Your aides may not tell you, but some of us will say it as it is.
All the palliatives you're distributing (fertiliser, rice, loans, grants etc) will translate to nothing as long as the prices of oil and dollar keep uncontrollably rising and dwindling. The NELFUND and others are just cosmetic approach. Let's not turn the citizens to beggars in their homeland. It's dangerous. The masses may revolt.
Sir, the absolute truth is that the economy is not stable. An unstable economy can never herald or usher in the much-needed development and prosperity. Your Excellency, we know your capacity. Kindly map out urgent and feasible strategies to mitigate this hardship.
Baba Wa Tinubu, wallahi, we love you. We did our best to ensure your victory at the polls. We want your success. We want your name to be engraved in gold in the minds of your people. We want you to end as one of the best leaders Nigeria had. God bless you, Mr President.
I WRITE ON BEHALF OF THE NIGERIAN MASSES.
