Chief Tony Anenih, Chief Raymond Dokpesi and Prof.Ambrose Ali are very Esteemed fathers of Edo state. These are men, that even in death, their legacy lives on. While alive, they touched the lives of their people, promoted the interest of Edolites, considered the empowerment of Edo indigenes before others and used their various positions to left up the youths of their time above themselves, acknowledging that the youth you support and empower today will be a pillar for other Edo youth tomorrow. While for this failed administration, they had rather die than to give the youth a chance to attain position in Government that they have not reached. "Mr only me" is the worse case scenario!
To take advantage of their rest/graves by this failed Government (Obaseki/Ogie/AKINTUNDE) for political rally is disappointing, shameful and wicked to say the least.
This same Government drove away the main-stream PDP members (now Legacy PDP) founded and sustained by Anenih and Dokpesi of blessed memory, gave Governorship and Deputy Governor candidate slots to themselves (new PDP) using the current state chairman as a pawn in this high level game of betrayal of both Anenih and Dokpesi even in their graves, removing the Umbrella from the heads of all those who have been empowered by these very Esteemed founding fathers and leaving them to be dranched by the rain, while they (this wicked men) embrace a new marriage of convenience with "ObedientAi"
Sometimes one wonders how callous these men can get in their quest to keep Edo state Treasury continuously looted under the control of the Board Member from Sterling Bank.
As an Edo indigene I feel very embarrassed at the act of desecration of the rest places of these great Edo Sons.
Recall that about 200 members of the Obaseki family have come out to offer their disclaimer of not being a part of what this failed administration has done to Edo people, both the living and the dead, including those who committed suicide in one of the communities in Ikpoba okha LGA when they got the news that their hard earned properties have been demolished by this failed Government.
There are more grave side that this failed Government Led by Obaseki, Ogie and Asue must visit.
They have to take their campaign to the grave side of Insp. Akon who was killed in broad daylight at one of the gate way to Benin, the Airport. They must go on campaign to the grave side of that pregnant market woman who was arrested and put in prison custody for her failure to pay #20, 000 to their street thugs. Who later was delivered of her baby and shortly after that died. This men must take their campaign to the graves of youths who had to commit suicide upon the destruction of their properties after toiling for years abroad. More graves to campaign with will be listed to this failed administration in due course.
Now, to every member of the legacy PDP, beginning with the state chairman, who are still holding the palm leaves and spreading their clothes on the ground for these men to walk on, posterity will judge you, your kids will learn about your role in this high level betrayal of your brothers and our fathers (both the living and the dead) and of the path you towed, when Edo was under the grip of Board-room, Treasury-looting technocrats.
The blood of the dead will cry out for vengeance against all of you should your pay masters gesture of visiting the grave of these Edo Sons be an attempt to seek dark powers for the purpose of the elections after their encounter with their voodoo associates.
