THE BIG STORY, APC RIVERS STATE, TINUBU PRESIDENTIAL VICTORY CHRONICLES AND A CAUTIOUS ALERT AGAINST BETRAYAL SCRIPTS FROM APC RIVERS STATE TRAITORS; AMAECHI/EMEKA BEKEE's ANTICS.
A CALL FOR URGENT ACTION.
Dear Mr. President
We, the undersigned, are stakeholders of the Renewed Hope Family in Rivers State, comprising of members of Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard/and a coalition of pro-Tinubu support Groups in Rivers State.
Sir, on behalf of our esteemed members, we heartily congratulate you, our dear President Tinubu, on your immeasurable and invaluable achievements in less than two years in office. Recent achievements, like the passing of the Local Government Autonomy Bill, Students loan scheme, food security policies, rejuvenation and utter transformation of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, comparable to first world cities, removal of the fuel subsidy, which was a cankerworm to our economy and other bold policies you have initiated underscore your determination to actualize the Renewed Hope Agenda for the betterment of Nigeria and Nigerians.
Your Excellency, We salute your industry and your love towards all, across Nigeria, especially the mature mien you exhibited in handling the recent directionless protest.
Please accept our warm congratulations.
We decided to write this open letter to you due to recent developments in our State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), wherein attempts are being made by perceived enemies of our party and you, to hijack the party in the state, and use it to undermine our mandate for your reelection in 2027, just as they did in 2023.
These enemies of the Party (APC) and Mr. President are the same individuals who did everything to frustrate our vehement resolve to render our unalloyed support to Asiwaju before and during the 2023 presidential election.
Sir, in 2022, when the leadership of the party was still in their grip, the level of frustration and humiliation they subjected those who refused to acquiesce to their aspiration but supported you, on different facets and degrees, almost threw us under the bus. However, we stood strong and resolute, refusing to allow our zeal to be dampened.
Having denied us the opportunity to use the party to campaign for Asiwaju in the state in 2023, we decided to use the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard (BATS~V) as an alternative platform, to promote your presidential aspiration.
This attempt was later supported by a handful of pliable PCC and ICC members who joined to canvass for support for you in our dear Rivers state.
This group grew in leaps and bounds, and latter attracted more pro-Tinubu Support Groups that stood through "thick and thin" to fight for APC and your mandate.
Our voices, instead of being drowned out, became very strong, audible and positively monotonous in all the nooks and crannies of Rivers State, sermonizing support for Asiwaju. Rallies were held in all the local government areas of the state through the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard platform to garner support for our Principal, Asiwaju. A typical example whìch Your Excellency may well remember, was the Elele Rally tsunami for Asiwaju under BATS~Vanguard, which was held a day after Amaechi picked up a chieftaincy title of Dan Amana, from Kastina State. This didn't go down well with your enemies in Rivers State and so, they tightened their nossles of against us and Your Excellency
During the APC presidential campaign in Rivers State, the enemies of Asiwaju did everything possible to hinder the event in the state. Another proof is that Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi who was the leader of that group, never participated nor did hè show up at the stadium where the Presidential Rally held in Rivers State
All thanks to the sagacity and doggedness of our leader, Chief Tony C. Okocha, and the huge support from the then Governor of Rivers State, Chief Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, the rally was a huge success.
We continued in our resilience, as Tinubu/ Shettima won the 25th February Presidential election. This victory was jinx~breaking as it negated a 23 years history of Rivers State falling to another party order than the PDP.
Note that in all of these struggles for your victory in Rivers State, both the then leader of APC in Rivers State, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, and the then State Chairman, Chief Emeka Bekee, were nowhere to be found. Even prior to the rally, on the day of the rally and through the election period, they were completely away from the scene. Instead, they vilified and almost expelled us from the party for our refusal to support the presidential aspiration of Rotimi Amaechi.
When they lost spectacularly in the APC presidential primary election, they retired from the party and were campaigning openly for Atiku Abubakar of the PDP. They instructed all their supporters across the state to vote for Atiku against Tinubu, who was the APC presidential candidate, and carried out series of unimaginable campaigns of calumny against you, Mr President.
All attempts to regain their support and loyalty for you and the party was abortive. They refused blatantly and excommunicated all of us who supported your Presidency.
However, despite the abandonment and rejection of Asiwaju by Amaechi, Emeka Bekee, and their supporters, we did not relent in our determination to ensure that Asiwaju succeeded in Rivers State. The 48 Tinubu/Shettima Support Groups in Rivers State, ably coordinated by Chief Tony Okocha through Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity vanguards , resolved to seek God's intervention through prayer meetings in different places, notably, the National Prayer Meeting for a successful swearing~in of Mr President at the Unity Fountain, Abuja. in which, each State had their turns and the Rivers State Group headed by Chief Tony C Okocha braved it to Abuja on the 27/5/2024, to take the turn of Rivers State, for the victory of Asiwaju and success of his administration.
It is noteworthy that the aftermath of the Anti-party activities of Rotimi Amaechi and Emeka Bekee resulted to the indefinite suspension of Emeka Bekee as the Chairman of APC in Rivers State by majority of the Members of the State Working Committee of APC in Rivers State.
He was accused of barefaced anti~party and financial misappropriation, tried and found guilty and so, suspended by his SWC colleagues. The issue of suspension was tŕied at the Court and succeeded

Emeka Bekee being dissatisfied with the Court pronouncement, headed to the Court of Appeal and abandoned the course, ab~intra.
Your Excellency Sir, you can see clearly that these enemies of APC and your Presidency are here again, with sinister intentions to hijack the Rivers APC and use the Party structure against your likely ambition in 2027 and thus, throw us overboard as opposition State
We are therefore pleading passionately with you, and the National Chairman of the APC, not to allow the Rivers State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress to be hijacked by Rotimi Amaechi and Emeka Bekee, who are still demonstrating unrepentant spirits against you and our party. The Rivers State APC is comfortable with the leadership of Chief Tony C Okocha and is well-positioned to triple our votes for Asiwaju in 2027.
Your Excellency may have watched a viral video of an unprecedented mammoth crowd, comparable to none in Nigeria, who thronged out in solidarity with you and to clean up the rot of politically sponsored protest in Rivers State.
At this juncture sir, we will not fail to thank you for the appointment of our key Political Leaders, HE, Chief Bar Ezenwo Nyesom Wike and Chief Tony C Okocha, who brokered the Rainbow Coalition that coasted us to Presidential victory in 2023.
We say a very big thank you. We also thank Mr. President for the numerous other appointments to bona-fide Rivers Sons and daughters and liķe Oliver Twist, we ask for plenty more.
Like the proverbial Oliver twist, we pray your good heart and wisdom to still consider more appointments, mostly for those of us who stood with the party and your mandate above other personal interest, to deliver APC in Rivers State, as we are still poised to resist and make sure that evil plans against APC Rivers State towards 2027 are brought to nothing before arrival.
We plead for an exceptional consideration of our request in this open letter to you. It is said that "a laborer is worthy of his wages".
We will be aggrieved and pained if after all the appointments, we are not considered. God forbid! It will be worrisome to see our genuine loyalty to you and the party being jettison and the party structure handed over to Rotimi Amaechi and Chief Emeka Bekee led group, who gave up on you, the party, and are currently still gearing to challenge your ambition for 2027. Should this happen, you would have given them another opportunity to superintend in the Party, while jettisoning our genuine loyalty to you and the party.
In conclusion Sir, we stand on your mandate to reaffirm our unwavering loyalty to you Mr. President and our great Party, the APC. We stand readily to defend your RenewedHope Mantra as we are confident that your leadership will in no sooner, birth dividends to our nation Nigeria. We also believe that our effort in protecting these ideals of yours will not go unrewarded and APC in the state under the leadership of Chief Tony Okocha will be given the support required.
